مثل سائر المدن في العالم التي تقع عند مفترق طرق تجاري وحضاري، فإنّ طنجة مدينة لا تتكرر: إنها تقع عند التقاء البحر الأبيض المتوسط بالمحيط الأطلسي، وبين القارة الأوروبية والأفريقية. ولكن في مقابل قيمتها السياحية الكبيرة تعدّ هذه المدينة من أهم المدن في أفريقيا عمومًا وفي المغرب خصوصًا
